An Addiction
A show has been airing on the History Channel that has taken control of my thursday nights. Swamp People! Last Night a bunch of friends got together to watch it and man was it good. If you have never seen swamp people it is a television series based around the life of several Louisianna alligator hunters. They hunt alligators to make a living and are really good at doing it. The show follows them around through the bayous of souther Louisianna as they attempt to catch alligators. The reason I enjoy this show so much is due to how well i can relate to there expirences. Every year from September to November we take many hunting trips to Marion, SC in hopes to fill our one alligator tag.

Gizmo
Recentlly i have been very obsessed with getting a American Treeing Feist. They are used for squirrel hunting to tree the squirrels. I have already picked out the name, Gizmo, and what color i want, black and tan. I will probably get over this obsession within a few weeks and move on to something else I want but for now i am dead set on getting one. The only issue is all of my friends have retrievers such as labs and spaniels. The amount of grief and ridicule i am getting for wanting a feist is very funny. Feist are about the size of a jack russel terrier and have the bark to match. This has led to name calling such as s**t eater, rat dog, and other names of that nature. However what they do not realize is that when ever i do get Gizmo trained and ready to hunt I will then refer back to these days of name calling and ridicule about Gizmo. Whenever they want to go hunt i will provide them with a flashback of how rude they were to my awesome dog.

A Sad Day
Well Sunday was a very sad day in my life. It marked the end of duck season. I know it doesn't seem like much but January 31 marks then end of all hunting seasons for the year. Hunting is a big part of my life. From august through January I am trying to hunt something. So here I sit writing this and all i can think about is April 1st, the opening day of turkey season. This thought is the only thing that gets me through the next two months. Turkey hunting is what i live for. No matter how many deer i can kill or how many ducks i watch that image of a big gobbler in full strut coming through the trees haunts my memories.

Good Eatin'
Last weekend me and some buddies went and stayed in a floating cabin in the middle of Sparkleberry Swamp in Sumter, SC. Its always a fun having a guys weekend away from everybody else with no cell phone signal or estrogen. Anyway we spent the weekend catching catfish and drinking pepsis and waters. We caught a few but the fishing wasn't very good. It picked up through out the weekend with the rain that came in. We caught a couple 25 lb fish and a bonus 42 lb Blue Cat. So tonight we are inviting everyone ove to my buddies house to have a fish fry and drink pepsis and waters. We are going to cut our own french fries too. After we all get done eating were gonna light the bonfire and sit around and listen to music all night and probably consume more pepsi and water. We tend to do this a lot in the winter months. My 9 oclock class friday morning is not looking to hot at this point. However i know i probably need to get up and make it to my Macro Economics.
